As a group of women, I know that we can all appreciate how important feminine products can be not only for our health, but also our confidence. That’s why Bloom of Wake Forest is partnering with the Triangle Area Ministry (TAM) Food Bank this quarter to support their new Love for Ladies initiative. This program specifically provides feminine products and diapers for women who are unable to afford them. WIC (women, infants and children) and SNAP (formerly food stamps) can not be used for these products often leaving lower income women in an awkward position of going without.
Please join us Tuesday, December 12th from 5-7pm at Real McCoy’s for happy hour. There will not be any training this evening as we spend time networking and getting to know each other for a good cause. We ask that you please bring a donation of feminine products or diapers that will be delivered to TAM later that week.
